About Our Featured Visual Artist Louise McMahon

" Hello, I am based on the Island of Ireland and am originally from Dublin. My Great Grandmother Margaret Mullaney was from Sligo and met my Great Grandfather who was originally from Clare whilst he was based in Elphin for duty. Therefore, there is a draw to the NW. I found many little pieces of heaven on this island, and take great solace from its natural beauty. When did I take my first photograph? I took my first photograph at 9 years of age and it was of the Eifel Tower in Paris.

 I have been taking photographs ever since and registered as a Visual Artist with the Arts Council Ireland eight years ago. As a Visual Artist I canvas paint too, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with ARTC-4 Studio and create a catalogue of very special  captured moments for my collection."
